Reverend And The Makers - A French Kiss In The Chaos (2009)

Fresh from his worldwide success with indie supergroup 'Mongrel', Jon McClure brings us his second Reverend & The Makers studio album 'A French Kiss In The Chaos' which has been produced by Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream/Kasabian) and mixed by Dave Sardy (The Ting Tings/Oasis/LCD Soundsystem). Silence Is Talking is the first single from the album and rides a blissed out euphoric groove. 'A French Kiss In The Chaos' was recorded at Tony Visconti s legendary Dean Street studios where Bowie, T-Rex & U2 have all recorded classic material.

The album is the follow up to the 175,000 selling 2007 Top 5 album The State of Things (which spawned several hit singles including Heavyweight Champion of the World and He Said He Loved Me ). The album has unquestionable universal appeal and features 10 tracks covering topics such as global warming, Prozac and consumerism, but with a sense of optimism and positivity. Musically the new album embraces 60 s psychedelia alongside a thoroughly modern and vibrant sound. Wall of Sound. 2009.
