Broadway - Kingdoms (2009)

Broadway is one of those clashing band types (but no pop/punk has come out of Florida in the past 2 years) and it shows on their debut album Kingdoms. They seem to be a cross between three bands : Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa and Chiodos. In my opinion that is a big compliment even when Johnny Craig and Craig Owens do guest vocals on two of the tracks on this album (their debut album). They also drag away from that stereotyping statement and make a rocking album that any screamo rock fan would enjoy. The albums tracks that stick out to me are: Don't Jump The Shark, You Gotta Love That Southern Charm,The Same Thing We Do Every Night Pinky, & The Prom Queen Has No Friends. If you like Emarosa, Chiodos, & Therefore I Am you will definitely enjoy this band. To find out more about this band go to www.myspace.com/broadwayfl
